Terminal 2 Info & Layout
Terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport is a key facility designed to accommodate both domestic and international flights. Officially opened on March 26, 2008, it plays a significant role in the airport's overall capacity to handle 60 million passengers annually. The terminal is primarily utilized by Air China and other Star Alliance members, offering a seamless experience for travelers flying with these airlines.
Terminal 2 features a total of 41 gates. The gates are numbered 50–65, 67–79, and 80–98, with a unique arrangement where gates 58–90 serve both domestic (C gates) and international (D gates) flights. Odd-numbered gates between 65–79 are exclusively used, while gates 50–57 and 92–98 cater to domestic flights only. Additionally, there are remote gates C219-C224 for domestic use and D228-D232 for international flights.
