Concourse B Info & Layout
Concourse B at Southwest Florida Airport is primarily dedicated to handling both domestic and international flights. It serves several major airlines, including Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Eurowings, Frontier, Southwest, and Sun Country. This concourse is equipped with a number of gates designed to efficiently accommodate the diverse range of flights operating from here.
A key feature of Concourse B is its Customs and Immigration services, which are located on the lower level. This facility is specifically designed to manage international arrivals, providing a seamless experience for travelers entering the United States.
Travelers can access Concourse B through pedestrian walkways from the main terminal area. Although the concourses are currently separate and not connected airside, an expansion project is underway that will eventually consolidate the three security checkpoints into one, enhancing passenger flow and convenience.
One of the unique aspects of Concourse B is its role in the planned expansion of the airport. By 2027, a new Concourse E is expected to be added to the west side of the terminal, with Concourse A reserved for future development on the east side. This planned growth underscores the airport's commitment to accommodating increasing passenger traffic and improving overall airport operations.
