Getting Around PIE Airport
PIE Airport features a single terminal divided into two gate areas: A-Side and B-Side. A-Side encompasses gates 1 through 6, while B-Side includes gates 7 through 12. Notably, gates 1 and 12 are designated as Arrivals Only gates, with gate 1 leading into the Ticketing A lobby and gate 12 connecting to the baggage claim area. This layout makes it straightforward to navigate between the different sections of the terminal.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has two security checkpoints located on the first floor of the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal and the second checkpoint is located near the gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced security technology to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
PIE offers a Fast Track lane for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lane is located at the first security checkpoint near the entrance of the terminal. This lane is available for passengers who have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR membership. The Fast Track lane is designed to provide a faster and more efficient security screening process for eligible passengers.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
St Petersburg - Clearwater Airport has a dedicated Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located on the second floor of the terminal building. This facility is responsible for processing all international arrivals and departures. Passengers arriving from international destinations must go through passport control and customs clearance at this facility. The CBP facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly trained CBP officers to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all passengers.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is located at the main terminal, and it allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening procedures. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA Pre can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and they can leave their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is open daily from 4:30 am to 7:30 pm.

Global Entry Locations
St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center. However, there are several Global Entry Enrollment Centers in the nearby area, including Tampa International Airport (TPA), Orlando International Airport (MCO), and Miami International Airport (MIA). Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application, pay a $100 fee, and attend an in-person interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center.

The airport has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal building. Baggage from all arriving flights is delivered to these areas. Passengers can easily locate their baggage by checking the flight information display screens located throughout the baggage claim areas. If you have any issues with your baggage, there are baggage service offices located nearby where you can report lost or damaged baggage.
