Getting Around PIE Airport

PIE Airport features a single terminal, which simplifies the process of getting around. The terminal is divided into two main gate areas: A-Side and B-Side. A-Side includes gates 1-6, while B-Side hosts gates 7-12. Notably, gates 1 and 12 are designated solely for arrivals. Gate 1 leads directly into the Ticketing A lobby, and gate 12 opens into the baggage claim area. This setup helps streamline the flow of passengers from their flights to exit points or baggage collection.

Here are a few tips to aid your navigation inside the terminal:

  • Follow the signage: Clear signs will guide you to your desired gate or service area within the terminal.
  • Gate Areas: Familiarize yourself with the gate layout—A-Side for gates 1-6 and B-Side for gates 7-12—to avoid confusion.
