Terminal 3 at Narita International Airport is dedicated to low-cost carriers and opened its doors on April 8, 2015. This terminal primarily handles both domestic and international flights, offering a cost-effective travel option for budget-conscious passengers. Major airlines operating from Terminal 3 include Jeju Air, Jetstar, Jetstar Japan, Spring Airlines, and Spring Japan.

Terminal 3 features a total floor space of 66,000 square meters (710,000 square feet) and is equipped with an apron that includes five additional parking slots for Airbus A320 and similar aircraft. The terminal is designed with several cost-saving measures, such as using decals for directional signs and outdoor gates with airstairs instead of traditional jet bridges, thereby reducing facility costs for airlines and passengers.

Amenities at Terminal 3 include a 24-hour food court, which is the largest airport food court in Japan, offering a variety of dining options to travelers. Additionally, the terminal provides two multi-faith prayer rooms for passengers' convenience.

Access to Terminal 3 is convenient, as it is located just 500 meters (1,640 feet) north of Terminal 2. Passengers can reach Terminal 3 via a pedestrian walkway, making it easily accessible from other parts of the airport. This proximity allows for straightforward connections to Terminal 2, enhancing the travel experience for those needing to transfer between terminals.

Terminal 3's unique focus on cost efficiency and passenger convenience, combined with its modern amenities, makes it a noteworthy option for travelers flying with low-cost carriers at Narita International Airport.
