YVR Airport Transportation Options
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) offers a variety of transportation options to suit your travel needs. Whether you're heading to downtown Vancouver, Richmond, or beyond, you'll find convenient choices including taxis, public transport, and rental cars.
Taxis & Limousines

Private Shuttles & Buses
Private shuttle services are available for various destinations. The YVR Whistler SkyLynx offers service to Whistler and Squamish. You can contact them at 604-662-8074 or 1-800-661-1725. Ride-Share Services
Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft operate at YVR. Pick-up and drop-off locations are designated at the airport, typically near the arrivals area. Use the app to request a ride and follow signs to the ride-share pick-up zones.
Rental Cars
Rental car services are located on the ground floor of the parkade, just steps from the terminal. Major providers include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National. Contact Avis at 604-606-2847 or Hertz at 604-606-3700.
Public Transportation
- The Canada Line train station is located between the Domestic and International terminals. Trains run every 7 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes at other times. The journey to downtown Vancouver takes about 26 minutes.
- For travel to Airport South, take the Canada Line to Bridgeport Station and transfer to the C-93 bus.
- The N10 night bus connects the airport to Richmond and downtown Vancouver during late hours and service interruptions.
- The C92 bus serves the south terminal and connects to the Canada Line at Bridgeport Station.
Accessibility and Additional Services
YVR is equipped with facilities for travelers with disabilities, including wheelchair services and accessible restrooms. Courtesy hotel shuttles stop at the green canopy outside Arrivals Level 2 at the International Terminal and at Arrivals Level 1 of the Domestic Terminal. Short-term parking is available near the terminals for quick pick-ups and drop-offs.
