GIG Airport Transportation Options
Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport, also known as RIOgaleão or GIG, offers various transportation options to help you reach your destination in Rio de Janeiro. From taxis and buses to rental cars and ride-sharing services, you'll find convenient ways to navigate the city.
Taxis & Limousines
For taxis, you can purchase a prepaid voucher at the Rio State Tourism Authority desk. This option is recommended for a hassle-free experience. Alternatively, choose from blue, green, or white Radio Taxis, which offer fixed rates. Yellow taxis, operated by Aerocoop and Aerotaxi, are also available but charge by the meter.
