Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Rio de Janeiro Airport has security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 has two security checkpoints, one located on the ground floor and the other on the second floor. Terminal 2 has three security checkpoints, one located on the ground floor and two on the second floor. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time for security checks.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Fast Track lanes are available for passengers who wish to expedite their security screening process. These lanes are located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the Fast Track lane is located on the second floor, near the security checkpoint. In Terminal 2, the Fast Track lane is located on the second floor, near the entrance to the security checkpoint. Passport and immigration control at GIG Airport is located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, passport control is located on the second floor, near the security checkpoint.
