The airport is known as the Eleftherios VenizelosInternational Airport, or as ATH, and handles over fourteen million passengersper annum. Its facilities are modern,and include the Athens International Airport parking lots. The airport’s parking rates are considered asreasonable, and the areas are ideal for short or long-term stays.
Athens InternationalAirport Parking
In total, the airport offers over 7,000 parking spaces. Short-termparking is in the P1 and P2 parking lots while long-term parking is at the P3parking lot.
Located nearby to the main terminal building, on theArrivals level, the P1 and P2 lots are best used for stays of up to five hours.No shuttle services are required from the short-term parking lots, as they arewithin walking distance of the airport’s facilities.

The Long-term Car Park P3 is located across the airport’smain access road (the Attiki Odos motorway). From P3, passengers can eithertake a shuttle bus to the terminal building or they can use the pedestrianbridge, which is about a ten minute walk. The shuttles are referred to as the ‘P3 Parking Express’ which are freeof charge and available approximately every 10mins.

The Car Park also offers Executive Valet which is a premiumcar parking service. Passengers maysimply drive their vehicle to the Departures Level and leave their car with oneof the trained personnel. The valetbooth is found at Entrance 3. A day ofparking in this area will cost €40.00 and seven days of parking will cost€80.00.

When parking in P1, P2, or P3 passengers may either take aticket from the machine upon entry to the area, or may use a credit card forentry. The ticket will be used forpayment at one of the auto pay stations at the car parking facilities. If acredit card is used, simply insert the same card at the exit barrier of the carpark in order to complete payment. Passengersmust use the car parks available, as no parking in front of the terminal isallowed. In all parking areas there arealso dedicated spaces that may be used by disabled drivers.
