Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Passengers departing from the airport will find security checkpoints located at the entrance of each terminal. There are two terminals at the airport, and each terminal has its own security checkpoint. The security checkpoints are equipped with the latest technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

BTR offers Fast Track lanes for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located at both terminals, and they are available to passengers who have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR membership. These lanes are designed to provide a faster and more efficient security screening process for eligible passengers. Passengers who are not eligible for Fast Track lanes can still use the regular security lanes.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

Passengers arriving at Baton Rouge Airport from international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) area. The CBP area is located in the baggage claim area of the terminal. Passengers will need to present their passport and other required documents to the CBP officers for inspection. After clearing passport and immigration control, passengers can proceed to the baggage claim area to collect their luggage.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

Baton Rouge Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center.
