Getting Around BIL Airport
The main terminal at BIL is designed to accommodate both commercial and general aviation traffic. It is a single, straightforward terminal, which makes navigation relatively simple for travelers. Upon entering the terminal, you will find the check-in counters for various airlines, including Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, and United, conveniently located near the entrance. This central area is also where you will find the security checkpoints, providing easy access to the departure gates.
Once past security, the terminal opens up into a concourse area featuring essential amenities. Dining options and retail stores are strategically placed, making it easy to grab a bite to eat or pick up last-minute travel items. The comfortable waiting areas are equipped with seating and charging stations, allowing you to relax before your flight. If you need to rent a car, the car rental services are also located within the terminal, ensuring a seamless transition from air to ground transportation.
For those needing assistance, information desks are available to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have. Signage throughout the terminal is clear and easy to follow, helping you find your way to gates, restrooms, and other facilities without hassle. Security & Screening
In this section, you'll find essential information about the security and screening processes at the airport. Learn about the locations of security checkpoints, the availability of TSA PreCheck and Global Entry, and the absence of fast track and CLEAR lanes. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Billings Airport has security checkpoints located at both Concourse A and Concourse B. The Main Terminal also has a security checkpoint for passengers who are not flying out of a specific concourse. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure time to allow enough time to go through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
BIL Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the program. TSA PreCheck allows for a faster and more efficient screening process, with dedicated lanes and no need to remove shoes, belts, or light jackets.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations will go through passport and immigration control upon arrival at their destination airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At BIL, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available to ensure a smooth and efficient security screening process for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible travelers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To use TSA Pre Check, travelers must apply and be approved for the program beforehand.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that provides expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At Billings Logan Airport, Global Entry locations are available to facilitate this process. To use Global Entry, travelers must apply and be approved for the program beforehand. Once approved, travelers can use automated kiosks to complete their arrival formalities quickly and easily.
CLEAR Lane Locations
This airport does not currently have CLEAR Lanes. However, you still might be able to use CLEAR if you are traveling to or from another airport that does. You can easily check CLEAR airport locations and learn more about how to save a ton of time on your next trip!

Food, Shops & Services
BIL offers a variety of options for food and shopping, making your travel experience more enjoyable. The Main Terminal houses several restaurants and cafes where you can grab a quick bite or sit down for a meal. From fast food chains like McDonald's and Subway to local favorites like Montana's Rib and Chop House, there's something for everyone. If you're in the mood for a drink, head to the Montana Ale Works Taproom for a local craft beer.
For those looking to do some shopping, there are several stores in the Main Terminal and Concourse B. In addition to food and shopping, Billings Logan Airport offers a range of amenities to make your travel experience more comfortable. Baggage Claim Areas
BIL Airport has two baggage claim areas located in the Main Terminal. Baggage Claim Area 1 is located on the east end of the terminal and serves Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. Baggage Claim Area 2 is located on the west end of the terminal and serves Allegiant Air and Frontier Airlines. Both areas have baggage carousels and are easily accessible from the arrival gates.
