Getting Around FNT Airport
The airport features a single terminal building, which simplifies navigation for travelers. This terminal is divided into two levels: the lower level for arrivals and baggage claim, and the upper level for departures and check-in. The compact layout makes it easy to move between different areas without much walking.
Key areas within the terminal include:
- Check-in and Ticketing: Located on the upper level, near the main entrance, where passengers can find airline counters for check-in and ticketing services.
- Security Checkpoint: Situated just beyond the check-in area, leading to the departure gates.
- Gates: After passing through security, passengers will find the departure gates, which are all within close proximity to each other.
- Baggage Claim: Located on the lower level, easily accessible via escalators or elevators from the upper level.
For passengers needing assistance, information desks are available within the terminal. Signage throughout the airport is clear and helpful, guiding travelers to their desired locations. Additionally, the terminal is equipped with amenities such as restrooms, dining options, and retail shops, all conveniently located to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.

Security & Screening
In this section, you will find detailed information on the locations of security checkpoints, the availability of fast track lanes, and TSA PreCheck services. It also covers passport and immigration control, Global Entry, and CLEAR lane services to expedite your security screening process. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. One is located near the main entrance of the terminal, and the other is located near the gates. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
There are no fast track lanes available at FNT. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through security screening faster and with less hassle. TSA PreCheck lanes are located at both security checkpoints in the terminal building.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Bishop Airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at their destination airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Flint Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. The TSA checkpoint is located at the main terminal entrance and is open daily from 4:00am until the last flight of the day. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is also located at the main terminal entrance and is open Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 7:00pm and on Saturdays from 5:00am to 12:00pm. Passengers who have enrolled in TSA Pre can enjoy expedited screening and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets, or take their laptops and liquids out of their bags.

Global Entry Locations
FNT Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site. However, there are several enrollment centers located within a reasonable driving distance. The closest enrollment centers are located in Detroit and Ann Arbor. Passengers who have enrolled in Global Entry can enjoy expedited clearance when entering the United States from abroad. Global Entry kiosks are located at select airports and allow passengers to bypass the traditional customs and passport control lines.
CLEAR Lane Locations
This airport does not currently have CLEAR Lanes. However, you still might be able to use CLEAR if you are traveling to or from another airport that does. You can easily check CLEAR airport locations and learn more about how to save a ton of time on your next trip!

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arriving at Bishop Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area. The airport has designated baggage claim carousels located in the lower level of the terminal. The carousels are labeled with flight numbers, making it easy for passengers to identify which carousel to go to. Once passengers arrive at the carousel, they can wait for their luggage to arrive. The airport staff is always available to assist passengers with any questions or concerns they may have about their luggage.
