BNE International Map & Guide
This page provides comprehensive details about the International Terminal at Brisbane Airport, including its layout, facilities, and access options.
International Terminal Info & Layout
The International Terminal at Brisbane Airport, built in 1995, is a key hub for international flights. It features 14 bays with aerobridges, four of which are capable of accommodating the Airbus A380. Additionally, there are four layover bays. The terminal is structured across four levels: Level 1 is dedicated to airline offices and baggage handling, Level 2 is for arrivals, Level 3 houses the departure lounge and other offices, and Level 4 is where departure check-in takes place.
Major airlines operating from this terminal include Emirates, Air New Zealand, Qantas, and Singapore Airlines, each offering exclusive lounges. Notably, the Emirates lounge here is the first outside Dubai with direct access to the A380 aerobridges. Other lounges include Aspire and Plaza Premium lounges, providing travelers with a comfortable waiting area.
Travelers can access the International Terminal via a five-storey long-term carpark and a smaller short-term carpark located nearby. The terminal is connected to the rest of the airport through pedestrian walkways, ensuring seamless movement for passengers.
A unique feature of the International Terminal is its artistic design, a result of a $45 million redevelopment led by Brisbane architectural firms Richards and Spence and Arkhefield. The redevelopment includes artworks by Queensland artists Sebastian Moody and Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the terminal.
