TVC Airport features a straightforward layout with a single concourse comprising six gates. This compact design makes it relatively easy to navigate the terminal on foot. All gates are accessible from the main entrance, and clear signage helps guide you to your desired location efficiently. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
TVC Airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located on the lower level near baggage claim, while the second checkpoint is located on the upper level near the departure gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with standard screening equipment and procedures, including X-ray machines and metal detectors.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows for a faster and more efficient screening process. TSA PreCheck lanes are located at both security checkpoints in the terminal building.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
TVC does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services are available at nearby airports for international travelers arriving in the United States. The nearest CBP office is located at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, which is approximately 250 miles southeast of Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Traverse City Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible travelers, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved by the TSA.

Global Entry Locations
TVC Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can apply for Global Entry. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at an enrollment center.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport has two baggage claim areas located in the lower level of the terminal. Baggage from all arriving flights is delivered to these areas, and passengers can easily locate their luggage by checking the flight information displays for the appropriate carousel number. The airport staff is always available to assist passengers with any questions or concerns regarding their baggage.
