Getting Around CVG Airport
CVG Airport features a single terminal structure that is designed to facilitate easy navigation through its two concourses, A and B. Each concourse functions as an island, meaning they are separated from the main terminal and each other. To move between the terminal and these concourses, or between the concourses themselves, you will need to use the underground moving walkways and a people mover system. This setup helps in managing the flow of passengers and can save you walking time.
Here are some tips for getting around inside the airport:
- Concourse A: This concourse has 23 gates. It is accessible via the underground people mover, which is a quick and efficient way to reach your gate if you're flying from this concourse.
- Concourse B: Hosting 28 gates, this concourse handles all non-pre-cleared international arrivals. Similar to Concourse A, access is through the underground moving walkway. Pay attention to signage to guide you directly to this area if you're arriving from an international destination.
Signage throughout the terminal and concourses is clear and frequent, aiding in your navigation through the airport. If you're unsure or need assistance, airport staff are generally helpful and can provide directions or additional information to facilitate your movement within the facility.
