Getting Around CAE Airport
Columbia Metropolitan Airport features a single terminal, making it straightforward for travelers to navigate. The terminal is divided into two concourses, Concourse A and Concourse B. These concourses are easily accessible from the main terminal area, where you will find ticketing, baggage claim, and security checkpoints. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Columbia Metropolitan Airport has two security checkpoints located on the upper level of the main terminal. The first checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse A, while the second checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse B. Both checkpoints are equipped with state-of-the-art security screening equipment to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The Columbia Metropolitan Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track program is available for a fee and allows passengers to use a dedicated lane for security screening. The Fast Track lane is located at the first security checkpoint near the entrance to Concourse A. Passengers who have enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program are also eligible to use the Fast Track lane.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Columbia Metropolitan Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located on the lower level of the main terminal. The CBP facility is responsible for processing all international arrivals and departures. Passengers who are arriving from an international destination must proceed to the CBP facility for passport and immigration control. The CBP facility is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Columbia Metropolitan Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible travelers to receive expedited screening at security checkpoints. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program. TSA Pre Check passengers are able to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and can leave their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. The TSA checkpoint at Columbia Metropolitan Airport is located on the second floor of the terminal.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Columbia Metropolitan Airport does not have a Global Entry enrollment center on site, but there are several enrollment centers located within a reasonable driving distance. The closest enrollment center to Columbia Metropolitan Airport is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is approximately 90 miles away. Other nearby enrollment centers include Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia.

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area. The airport has two baggage claim carousels located on the lower level of the terminal. The carousels are labeled with flight numbers and airlines to help passengers identify which carousel to go to. Baggage claim areas are equipped with baggage carts for passengers to use to transport their luggage to the airport exit.
