Getting Around CPH Airport
Copenhagen Airport features two main terminals for check-in: Terminals 2 and 3. These terminals share a common airside passenger concourse and an arrivals section located in Terminal 3, which includes customs and baggage claim. The airside area can be accessed through a shared security checkpoint situated between the two terminals, making transitions between them seamless for travelers.
The common airside passenger concourse is divided into several piers, each designated for specific types of flights:
- Piers A and B: Flights within the Schengen Area.
- Pier C: Primarily for flights outside the Schengen Area.
- Pier D: Mostly for flights within the Schengen Area.
- Pier E: Recently opened in June 2019, handling long-haul flights, including many operated by SAS.
- Pier F (formerly CPH Go): Dedicated to low-cost carriers such as EasyJet, Transavia, and Ryanair.
To navigate efficiently, passengers should be aware of their departure pier and follow the clear signage throughout the terminal. Moving walkways and ample seating areas are available to enhance the travel experience. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
CPH has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the central area of the airport, near the entrance to the main terminal. There are also security checkpoints located in each of the concourses, including Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. These checkpoints are easily accessible to passengers traveling through those areas of the airport.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Passengers who are looking to get through security quickly can take advantage of the Fast Track lanes at Copenhagen Airport. These lanes are available to passengers who have purchased Fast Track access or who are traveling in business or first class. The Fast Track lanes are located in the central area of the airport, near the main security checkpoint. There are also Fast Track lanes located in each of the concourses, including Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Copenhagen Airport is located in the central area of the airport, near the entrance to the main terminal. There are also passport and immigration control checkpoints located in each of the concourses, including Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. Passengers arriving at the airport will need to go through passport and immigration control before they can enter Denmark. Passengers departing from the airport will need to go through passport control before they can board their flight.
