Getting Around DAB Airport
The airport features a compact layout with a six-gate domestic terminal and an international terminal. The terminals are designed to be easily navigable, allowing passengers to move between areas with minimal hassle. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
DAB Airport has one security checkpoint located on the second floor of the main terminal building, near the entrance to the gate area. All passengers must pass through this checkpoint before boarding their flight. The checkpoint is equipped with X-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings. TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, allowing them to use a dedicated lane and expedite the screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for passengers. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, allowing them to use a dedicated lane and expedite the screening process. Additionally, the airport recommends that passengers arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow for ample time to check in, pass through security, and reach their gate.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
DAB does not have international flights and therefore does not have passport and immigration control locations. All flights departing from Daytona Beach Airport are domestic flights within the United States. However, passengers are still required to present a valid form of government-issued identification, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint before boarding their flight.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Daytona Beach Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for passengers to go through before boarding their flights. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through a faster security screening process. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA Pre Check can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This program is available for U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents. Passengers can apply for TSA Pre Check online or in person at an enrollment center.

Global Entry Locations
DAB Airport does not have a Global Entry enrollment center. However, there are several enrollment centers located near the airport that passengers can visit to apply for Global Entry. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. Members of Global Entry can use automated kiosks to complete their customs declaration and biometric verification when arriving in the U.S. Passengers can apply for Global Entry online and schedule an appointment for an in-person interview at an enrollment center.

Baggage Claim Areas
DAB has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal. Baggage from all arriving flights is delivered to these areas for passenger pick-up. The baggage claim areas are easily accessible from the main terminal and are clearly marked with signs. If you need assistance with your luggage, baggage carts are available for use.
