Terminal 3 Info & Layout

Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport is a key hub for international flights, primarily serving Emirates and its low-cost subsidiary, flydubai. The terminal is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and luxurious amenities, catering to a high volume of passengers with a capacity of 65 million annually.

The terminal is divided into three concourses: A, B, and C, each with unique features and services:

• Concourse A: Opened in 2013, this concourse is exclusively designed for Airbus A380 operations, featuring 20 air bridge gates. It offers two hotels, first- and business-class lounges, and extensive duty-free shopping areas.
• Concourse B: Directly connected to Terminal 3, Concourse B is dedicated to Emirates flights with 32 gates, including 26 air bridge gates. It houses multiple lounges and hotels, offering a blend of luxury and convenience.
• Concourse C: Initially part of Terminal 1, it became part of Terminal 3 in 2016. It offers 50 gates and a variety of dining options, a 5-star hotel, and duty-free shopping.

Passengers can access Terminal 3 via an automated people mover (APM) that connects Concourse A to the main terminal building. This efficient transport system ensures smooth transit between the concourses. Additionally, Terminal 3 is connected to Terminal 1, allowing for seamless transfer without the need for immigration clearance.

Unique features of Terminal 3 include its underground structure, which was once the world's largest building by floor space. The terminal also boasts the largest first- and business-class lounges globally, offering direct aircraft access from the lounges. The extensive baggage handling system is capable of processing 8,000 bags per hour, ensuring swift and efficient luggage management for travelers.
