Getting Around ELP Airport
The airport features a pier-satellite layout with two main concourses: East and West. The East Concourse houses Gates B1–B11, while the West Concourse contains Gates A1–A4. The central terminal building connects these concourses and includes an upper level for gates and a lower level for ticketing, baggage claim, and other services. Navigating between the concourses and the main terminal is straightforward and well-signposted.
Upon entering the terminal, travelers will find the ticketing and baggage claim areas on the lower level. The meeter/greeter area is conveniently located just behind the escalators that lead to the TSA checkpoint. After passing through security, passengers will find themselves on the upper level where the gates are located. The central corridor connecting the ticketing area to the gates passes through the old terminal, now used for airport administration, providing a seamless transition between areas.
For dining options, the food court is situated between Gates B6 and B11 in the East Concourse. It offers a variety of choices including Carlos and Mickey's Mexican Express, Slice, Tia's, Schlotzsky's, Cinnabon, and Starbucks. This centralized location makes it easy for travelers on both concourses to grab a bite to eat while waiting for their flights.

Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
ELP Airport has security checkpoints located in both the East Concourse and West Concourse. Passengers can access the East Concourse security checkpoint through the main terminal, while the West Concourse security checkpoint can be accessed through the west end of the main terminal. Both checkpoints are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. Fast Track lanes are available at both the East Concourse and West Concourse security checkpoints. Passengers can purchase a Fast Track pass online or at the airport, which allows them to bypass the regular security line and use the dedicated Fast Track lane. This service is especially useful for passengers who are running late or have tight connections.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The passport and immigration control locations at ELP are located in the main terminal. Passengers arriving on international flights will need to proceed to the passport control area, where they will be required to present their passport and other travel documents. After clearing passport control, passengers will proceed to the baggage claim area to collect their luggage. Immigration officers are available to assist passengers with any questions or concerns they may have during the process.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
El Paso Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which can save time and reduce stress. ELP Airport has a Global Entry enrollment center located in the main terminal. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at the enrollment center. Food, Shops & Services
El Paso Airport offers a variety of food and shopping options for travelers. In the Main Terminal, you can find a food court with several fast food options such as McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts, and Pizza Hut. If you're looking for a sit-down meal, there's a restaurant called The Local which serves American cuisine. For those who want to grab a drink, there's a bar called The Last Call.
In addition to food options, there are also several shops available for those who want to do some last-minute shopping. You can find a convenience store called Hudson News which sells snacks, drinks, and travel essentials. There's also a duty-free shop called Duty Free Americas where you can purchase items such as perfume, alcohol, and tobacco products. Other shops include a souvenir store and a newsstand.
Aside from food and shopping, El Paso Airport also offers several amenities and services for travelers. There are ATMs located throughout the airport for those who need to withdraw cash. If you need to charge your electronic devices, there are charging stations available in the Main Terminal and the East Concourse. For those who need to work, there's a business center located in the Main Terminal. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the airport for free.

Baggage Claim Areas
ELP has two baggage claim areas located in the lower level of the Main Terminal. Baggage claim area A serves American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines, while baggage claim area B serves Southwest Airlines. The airport provides baggage carts free of charge for passengers to transport their luggage from the baggage claim area to the ground transportation area.
