Getting Around ATL Airport

ATL Airport features two main terminals: the Domestic Terminal on the west side and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal on the east. These terminals serve as the nexus for seven concourses, labeled T through F, which altogether host 192 gates. Moving between these areas is facilitated by the Transportation Mall, a pedestrian-friendly tunnel equipped with moving walkways, and The Plane Train, an automated people mover that operates around the clock.

When navigating the airport, here are some tips:

  • The Plane Train connects all concourses and terminals, offering a quick and efficient way to move across large distances within the airport.
  • Concourses E and F handle all international arrivals, with Concourse F equipped to accommodate the Airbus A380, the largest passenger aircraft. This is also where non-Delta international flights are typically managed.
  • If you're looking to move on foot, the Transportation Mall’s moving walkways can help reduce the walking time between concourses.
