Getting Around ICN Airport
ICN Airport is composed of two main terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, along with a Midfield Concourse. Terminal 1, the largest in South Korea, features 44 boarding ports, numerous customs and inspection counters, and both stationary and portable passenger quarantine counters. Terminal 2, which opened in 2018, serves several SkyTeam airlines and includes state-of-the-art facilities.
To navigate between Terminal 1 and the Midfield Concourse, passengers can use the underground passageways equipped with Intra Airport Transit (IAT) systems. These passageways are 870 meters long and ensure quick and efficient transfer between the terminals. For those needing to move between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, shuttle buses are available to facilitate easy transit.
Inside the terminals, clear signage is abundant, guiding passengers to check-in counters, security checkpoints, and boarding gates. Automated check-in kiosks are available for travelers flying with specific airlines, streamlining the check-in process.
