Getting Around JAX Airport
The terminal at JAX Airport is structured across multiple levels to streamline the flow of passengers. On the first floor, you will find the baggage claim area, making it easy to collect your luggage upon arrival. The second floor houses the ticketing area, where departing passengers can check in and drop off their bags. Between these two levels lies the mezzanine, a central hub for dining, shopping, and accessing the security checkpoint.
Once you pass through security, you will enter the concourses. Concourse A and Concourse C each feature 10 gates, providing access to various domestic and international flights. Both concourses offer a selection of shops and restaurants, ensuring you have everything you need while waiting for your flight. Additionally, Concourse A is home to a Delta Sky Club, and there is a multi-airline passenger club located behind the airside food court for those seeking a quieter and more comfortable waiting area.
Before reaching the security checkpoint, take a moment to explore the three galleries located off the main courtyard. These galleries include an art exhibit, a rotating exhibit about local landmarks or institutions, and a permanent exhibit that celebrates the history of aviation in the Jacksonville area. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Passengers departing from Jacksonville Airport can find security checkpoints located at the entrance of each concourse. There are a total of four checkpoints, two in Concourse A and two in Concourse C. The Main Terminal also has a security checkpoint for passengers who need to access the airport's amenities without boarding a flight. It is important to note that TSA PreCheck is available at all security checkpoints, allowing eligible passengers to expedite the screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Jacksonville Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to skip the regular security lines. The Fast Track program is available to all passengers, regardless of airline or ticket class, for a fee. Fast Track lanes are located at each security checkpoint in Concourse A and Concourse C. Passengers who purchase the Fast Track program can use these lanes to expedite the screening process and get to their gate faster.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at JAX Airport is located in the Main Terminal, near baggage claim. All international passengers must go through passport and immigration control before exiting the airport. The airport has several Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks to help expedite the process for eligible passengers. Additionally, Global Entry kiosks are available for members of the program to expedite the customs process upon arrival in the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At the airport, there are several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the terminal. These checkpoints are designed to help expedite the security screening process for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening at security checkpoints. This program is available to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who have been pre-screened and deemed low-risk by the TSA. If you are a frequent traveler, it may be worth considering applying for TSA Pre Check to save time and hassle at the airport.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At JAX, there is a Global Entry enrollment center located in the main terminal. This center is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and citizens of certain other countries who meet eligibility requirements. If you are a frequent international traveler, Global Entry can be a great way to save time and hassle when entering the United States. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements and apply in advance to take advantage of this program.

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at Jacksonville Airport, passengers can easily locate their baggage claim area. The airport has four baggage claim carousels located in the lower level of the terminal building. Each carousel is designated for a specific airline, making it easy for passengers to find their luggage. The baggage claim areas are well-lit and equipped with seating areas for passengers waiting for their bags. Additionally, there are baggage carts available for passengers to use free of charge.
