Terminal 4 Info & Layout

Terminal 4 at New York Kennedy Airport is a major hub for international and domestic flights, primarily serving as the base for Delta Air Lines at JFK. The terminal is managed by JFKIAT LLC, a subsidiary of the Schiphol Group, making it the first U.S. terminal operated by a foreign airport operator. This terminal is equipped to handle large aircraft, including the Airbus A380, with services provided by airlines such as Emirates and Etihad Airways.

Terminal 4 features 48 gates spread across two concourses. Concourse A (gates A2–A12, A14–A17, A19, and A21) primarily serves Asian and some European airlines, along with Delta Connection flights. Concourse B (gates B20, B22-B55) is mainly used for Delta's domestic and international flights, as well as those of its SkyTeam partners.

The terminal offers a wide array of amenities, including an expansive check-in hall, a four-block-long retail area, and a mezzanine-level AirTrain station that facilitates easy access to other terminals and airport facilities. The terminal has undergone multiple expansions, with significant improvements made to security checkpoints, baggage screening, and customs facilities. A notable feature is the Delta Sky Club lounge, one of the largest in Delta's network, and a new Delta One exclusive lounge set to open by June 2024.

Passengers can access Terminal 4 via the AirTrain JFK, which connects all terminals and provides seamless transfers. The terminal also offers improved shuttle bus services to Terminal 2, enhancing connectivity within the airport. Unique features of Terminal 4 include its Arts & Culture program, which showcases digital and static photography exhibits, murals, and the first-ever freestanding hologram device in an airport.
