Getting Around GRK Airport
The layout of GRK Airport includes a civilian terminal with six gates. The terminal's gates are divided into two sections, each accessible through separate TSA checkpoints. Gates 1-3 are grouped together, as are Gates 4-6. This setup means you'll need to go through security at the checkpoint specific to your gate number, so it's good to know your gate before you arrive at the security area.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Killeen Airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal and serves passengers flying with American Airlines. The second checkpoint is located near the gate area and serves passengers flying with United Airlines. Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced security screening technology to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
GRK Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, passengers with TSA PreCheck or Global Entry can still enjoy a faster screening process at the regular security checkpoints. These passengers can use the dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets, or take out their liquids and laptops from their carry-on bags.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport and immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations can connect to other airports in the United States that offer these services. It is important for passengers to check the entry requirements of their destination country and ensure they have the necessary travel documents before their trip.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
GRK has TSA checkpoints for all passengers traveling through the airport. TSA PreCheck is also available for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the program. TSA PreCheck allows expedited security screening, where passengers can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep electronics and liquids in their carry-on bags.

Global Entry Locations
Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport does not have a Global Entry enrollment center. However, there are several enrollment centers located within driving distance, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Antonio International Airport. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area. The airport has a single baggage claim area located near the exit of the terminal. The area is well-lit and clearly marked, making it easy for passengers to find their luggage. Baggage carts are available for use in the baggage claim area, free of charge.
