Getting Around LRD Airport
LRD Airport features a single, two-floor terminal that is easy to navigate. On the ground floor, travelers will find the check-in counters, a gift shop, a restaurant, baggage carousel, and rental car desks. US customs is also located on this level, making it convenient for international travelers. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal, allowing passengers to stay connected while waiting for their flights.
The second floor houses the airport's security checkpoint and four gates, all equipped with jetways. Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The security checkpoints at the airport are located at the entrance of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through the security screening process before entering the departure area. There are several security lanes available to accommodate the volume of passengers during peak hours. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Fast track lanes are available at LRD for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. These lanes are located at the entrance of the terminal building and are accessible to passengers who have purchased fast track services or have elite status with their airline. The fast track lanes are designed to provide a faster and more efficient screening process for passengers, allowing them to reach their gate in a timely manner.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The passport and immigration control at Laredo Airport is located in the main terminal building. Passengers arriving from international destinations are required to go through the immigration process before exiting the airport. The immigration officers will verify the passenger's travel documents and stamp their passport before allowing them to enter the country. It is recommended that passengers have all necessary travel documents ready and available for inspection to avoid any delays in the immigration process.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Laredo Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. The TSA checkpoint is located at the main terminal and is available for all passengers. TSA Pre Check is also available at LRD Airport for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the TSA Pre Check program. This program allows for expedited screening and a more efficient travel experience. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA Pre Check can use dedicated lanes and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets, and can keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.

Global Entry Locations
The airport is an approved Global Entry location, providing expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. Global Entry kiosks are located in the international arrivals area of the airport. Travelers must apply and be approved for Global Entry before using the kiosks. Global Entry members can also participate in TSA Pre Check, providing an even faster and more efficient travel experience.
