Getting Around LGW Airport
LGW Airport consists of two main terminals: the South Terminal and the North Terminal. These terminals are connected by an elevated, two-way automated people mover that spans approximately 0.75 miles (1.21 km). This convenient shuttle service operates landside, making it easy for passengers to transfer between terminals before passing through security. However, once past security, the terminals are not interconnected.
The South Terminal features 32 gates with jetbridges and 7 remote gates. It includes a variety of shops, restaurants, and facilities such as baby changing areas and specialized lounges for business travelers. The terminal also has a circular satellite pier connected by walkways and travelators, ensuring smooth movement for passengers.
The North Terminal, with 31 gates including three capable of accommodating the Airbus A380, offers similar amenities. It houses check-in zones A and B, and passengers can enjoy a range of dining and shopping options both landside and airside. An additional highlight is the air passenger bridge linking Pier 6 to the main terminal building, providing stunning views of the airport and taxiing aircraft.

It is important to note that liquids over 100ml are not allowed through security and must be disposed of before entering the checkpoint.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Fast Track lanes are available for passengers who wish to bypass the regular security queues and move through the checkpoint more quickly. These lanes are located in both the North and South Terminals and can be accessed by purchasing a Fast Track pass online or at the airport. The Fast Track lanes are clearly marked and are typically located near the regular security checkpoints. It is important to note that Fast Track passes are subject to availability and may not always be offered during peak travel times.

Passengers arriving from outside the UK will need to present their passport and any necessary visas at immigration control before proceeding to baggage claim.
