Getting Around OAK Airport
OAK Airport features two main terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which are seamlessly connected at the post-security and gate areas. This connectivity allows passengers to transfer between terminals without the need to pass through security again, making it convenient for those with connecting flights. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
OAK Airport has security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the security checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal, after the ticketing counters and before the food court. In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal, after the ticketing counters and before the baggage claim area. Both checkpoints are easily accessible and well-marked, with plenty of signage to guide passengers.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Fast Track lanes are available at the airport for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. These lanes are located at both security checkpoints in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. To access the Fast Track lane, passengers must have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR membership. These programs allow passengers to go through security without removing their shoes, belts, or light jackets, and without taking their laptops and liquids out of their bags. Passport & Immigration Control Locations
