Getting Around MCN Airport
MCN Airport features two main terminals: a commercial service terminal and a general aviation terminal. The commercial service terminal handles all commercial passenger flights, while the general aviation terminal is dedicated to private, corporate, and military flights. Both terminals are easily accessible and well-signposted, ensuring that travelers can navigate the airport with ease.
For those using the commercial service terminal, all essential services such as check-in counters, security checkpoints, baggage claim, and boarding gates are located within close proximity. This compact layout minimizes walking distances and makes it convenient for passengers to find their way around. Clear signage and helpful airport staff are available throughout the terminal to assist with directions and any inquiries.
The general aviation terminal, primarily used by private and corporate flights, offers a range of amenities tailored to the needs of its passengers. While it is separate from the commercial terminal, it is still within a short walking distance, making transfers between the two terminals straightforward. Passengers in the general aviation terminal will find comfortable lounges, pilot briefing areas, and other necessary facilities to support their travel needs.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Middle Georgia Regional Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through the security checkpoint before entering the gate area. The airport recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Unfortunately, the Middle Georgia Regional Airport does not offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers. TSA PreCheck allows passengers to go through a separate security lane and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA PreCheck is available at the security checkpoint for a fee of $85 for five years.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Middle Georgia Regional Airport does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. However, if you are traveling internationally and connecting through another airport, you will need to go through passport control and customs at that airport before continuing on to your final destination.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Macon Airport, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available for passengers to go through security screening. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through an expedited screening process, which includes keeping on shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as leaving laptops and liquids in carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.
