Getting Around MXP Airport
MXP Airport consists of two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the larger and more prominent terminal, divided into three sections: Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. Each section serves different types of flights, with Concourse A handling domestic and intra-Schengen flights, Concourse B handling non-Schengen and intercontinental flights, and Concourse C managing non-Schengen, intercontinental flights, and security-sensitive flights to the USA and Israel. Terminal 2, primarily used by easyJet, was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but has since reopened.
To navigate between the terminals, passengers can use the free airport shuttle buses and trains that operate regularly. These services are convenient for those who need to transfer between terminals, especially since Terminal 2 is exclusively used by easyJet, while Terminal 1 accommodates a broader range of airlines and flight types.
Inside the terminals, clear signage and information desks are available to assist passengers in finding their way. Concourse maps are strategically placed throughout the terminals, and digital information screens provide real-time updates on flight statuses and gate information. For those needing additional assistance, airport staff are readily available to help guide travelers to their destinations within the airport.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Security checkpoints at the airport are located in each terminal. Terminal 1 has three security checkpoints: one on the ground floor, one on the first floor, and one on the second floor. Terminal 2 has two security checkpoints, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security checks.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Fast Track lanes are available for passengers who wish to expedite the security process. These lanes are located at each security checkpoint in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers who are eligible for Fast Track include business class passengers, first class passengers, and passengers with certain frequent flyer statuses. Fast Track can also be purchased for a fee at the airport or online prior to arrival.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at MXP is located in each terminal. Terminal 1 has two passport control areas: one for Schengen flights and one for non-Schengen flights.
