Getting Around MSP Airport

MSP Airport features two main terminals: Terminal 1 (Lindbergh) and Terminal 2 (Humphrey). Terminal 1 is the larger of the two, hosting 117 gates spread across seven concourses labeled A through G. Terminal 2 is smaller, with 14 gates all located within a single concourse, labeled H. If you're arriving on an international flight, you'll be processed in Concourse G of Terminal 1 or at Terminal 2.

Getting between the two terminals can be a bit tricky since they are about a mile apart and not directly connected inside the airport. You have a couple of options if you need to switch terminals:

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT): This is the most straightforward method. The LRT connects both terminals and is free between them. It's a quick ride and trains are frequent.
  • Driving: If you're catching a ride or driving yourself, note that each terminal is accessed via separate exits on Minnesota State Highway 5. Pay close attention to the signage to avoid missing the correct exit.
