Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

MGM Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. It is easily accessible from the ticketing and baggage claim areas. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to use a dedicated screening lane and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

MGM does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling internationally from nearby airports such as Atlanta or Birmingham will go through passport and immigration control at those airports before arriving in Montgomery.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through security checkpoints faster and with less hassle. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program. TSA Pre Check members are allowed to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and can leave their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This program can save passengers time and stress when traveling through Montgomery Airport.

Global Entry Locations

MGM Airport (MGM) does not have a Global Entry enrollment center on-site. However, there are several Global Entry enrollment centers located within driving distance of the airport. The closest enrollment center is located in Birmingham, Alabama, which is approximately 90 miles away. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. To apply for Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at an enrollment center. Once approved, Global Entry members can use automated kiosks to bypass long lines and save time when entering the United States.

CLEAR Lane Locations

MGM may be small, but it offers a variety of food and shopping options for travelers. If you're feeling hungry, head to the food court located in the main terminal. Here, you'll find a selection of fast food chains such as Chick-fil-A, Quiznos, and Great American Cookies. There's also a Starbucks for those in need of a caffeine fix.

For those looking to do some shopping, there are a few stores to choose from. The Hudson News store offers a selection of books, magazines, snacks, and travel essentials. There's also a PGA Tour Shop for golf enthusiasts. In addition to food and shopping, Montgomery Regional Airport offers a few amenities such as free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and a business center.

While Montgomery Airport may not have as many options as larger airports, it still provides travelers with the necessary food, shopping, and amenities to make their airport experience a comfortable one.

Baggage Claim Areas

MGM has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal building. Baggage claim area A is designated for Delta and American Airlines flights, while baggage claim area B is for all other airlines. The airport provides baggage carts free of charge for passengers to use while collecting their luggage.
