Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Wilmington (ILG) Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. It is easily accessible from the ticketing and baggage claim areas. Passengers are required to have their boarding pass and government-issued ID ready for inspection before entering the security checkpoint. The airport staffs TSA agents to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Unfortunately, ILG Airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, the airport does offer TSA PreCheck, a program that allows pre-approved passengers to enjoy expedited security screening. Passengers enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lanes and do not have to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

The airport does not have any international flights, and therefore does not have a passport and immigration control area. All flights departing from and arriving at the airport are domestic flights, and passengers are only required to show a government-issued ID and boarding pass at the security checkpoint.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

ILG has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows travelers to expedite the security screening process by providing a dedicated lane for eligible passengers. Wilmington New Castle Airport is not a Global Entry location. However, nearby airports such as Philadelphia International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport offer Global Entry services.
