Getting Around NCE Airport
The airport consists of two main passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1, with 25 gates, handles both domestic and international flights, including Schengen and non-Schengen destinations. Terminal 2 is the larger of the two, featuring 29 gates and accommodating flights to a wide range of destinations. Both terminals are equipped with various amenities to ensure a comfortable travel experience.
To move between terminals, passengers can use the tram service that connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. This tram route also links the airport to the city center at the "Jean Médecin" station and extends to the port at the "Port Lympia" station. This makes it convenient for passengers to transfer between terminals or travel to and from the city.
For those needing to navigate within the terminals, clear signage is available throughout the airport. Information desks are strategically placed to assist with directions and other inquiries. Additionally, each terminal has a variety of dining, shopping, and relaxation options to make the wait for your flight more enjoyable.

Security & Screening
In this section, you'll discover essential information about the security and screening process at the airport. Learn about the locations of security checkpoints in both terminals, the availability and benefits of Fast Track lanes, and where to find passport and immigration control. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Passengers departing from NCE will find security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the security checkpoint is located on the ground floor, near the entrance to the boarding gates. In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located on the first floor, near the entrance to the boarding gates. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Nice Cote d Azur Airport offers Fast Track lanes for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. These lanes are available in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and can be accessed by passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass or who are members of certain airline loyalty programs. In Terminal 1, the Fast Track lane is located next to the standard security checkpoint, while in Terminal 2, it is located near the entrance to the boarding gates.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Nice Airport is located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, passport control is located on the first floor, near the departure gates. In Terminal 2, passport control is located on the ground floor, near the baggage claim area. It is important for passengers to have all necessary travel documents, such as a valid passport and visa (if required), ready for inspection by immigration officials.

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers will find baggage claim areas located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The baggage claim areas are clearly marked and easily accessible from the arrival gates. Passengers are advised to check the flight information screens for their assigned baggage carousel number. Baggage carts are available for use in the baggage claim areas, however, there may be a fee to use them.
