Getting Around NCE Airport
Getting around NCE Airport is straightforward due to its well-organized layout with two main terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. These terminals are connected by an efficient tram service, making transfers between them easy and quick. The tram route is not only useful for moving between terminals but also connects you to key city locations like the Jean Médecin station in the city center and Port Lympia station by the port.
Inside the terminals, Terminal 1 covers 52,000 m2 and includes 25 gates. It serves domestic, Schengen, and non-Schengen flights and is equipped with a business center that includes meeting rooms and a large conference room. Terminal 2, slightly larger at 57,800 m2, features 29 gates and handles flights to all destinations. Both terminals are designed to facilitate easy navigation through clear signage and accessible information points to assist with any inquiries. For further convenience, buses are available to transport you between car parks and terminals.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Passengers departing from NCE will find security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the security checkpoint is located on the ground floor, near the entrance to the boarding gates. In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located on the first floor, near the entrance to the boarding gates. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Nice Cote d Azur Airport offers Fast Track lanes for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. These lanes are available in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and can be accessed by passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass or who are members of certain airline loyalty programs. In Terminal 1, the Fast Track lane is located next to the standard security checkpoint, while in Terminal 2, it is located near the entrance to the boarding gates.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Nice Airport is located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, passport control is located on the first floor, near the departure gates. In Terminal 2, passport control is located on the ground floor, near the baggage claim area. Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers will find baggage claim areas located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The baggage claim areas are clearly marked and easily accessible from the arrival gates. Passengers are advised to check the flight information screens for their assigned baggage carousel number. Baggage carts are available for use in the baggage claim areas, however, there may be a fee to use them.
