Terminal 4 Info & Layout

Terminal 4 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, also known as the Manila Domestic Passenger Terminal or the Old Domestic Terminal, is the oldest and smallest terminal at the airport. Constructed in 1948, it is located near the north end of Runway 13/31 on the old Airport Road. As of July 1, 2023, Terminal 4 is dedicated to handling domestic flights, specifically for turboprop aircraft, and operates exclusively with ground-loaded gates.

This terminal can accommodate up to three million passengers annually and primarily serves regional airlines such as AirSWIFT, SkyJet Airlines, Cebgo, and Sunlight Air. Despite its smaller size, Terminal 4 provides essential amenities to travelers, ensuring a functional and efficient experience for domestic passengers.

Access to Terminal 4 is straightforward, with its location easily reachable by road. However, there are no automated transport systems like people movers connecting it to other terminals. Passengers must use pedestrian walkways or shuttle services to transfer between terminals at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Noteworthy for its historical significance as the airport's original structure, Terminal 4 has played a vital role in the airport's operations over the years. However, plans are underway by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to permanently close Terminal 4 after the expansion of Terminal 2 is completed. The site is expected to be repurposed as a warehouse and administrative offices.
