Getting Around ATW Airport
The terminal at the airport features a straightforward layout, which makes navigating it relatively simple. The terminal has eight gates currently in use, with seven equipped with jet bridges and one designated for tarmac entry. The gates are numbered 3 through 7, 7b, and 8, with gate 8b used for tarmac boarding. Gates 1 and 2 are less frequently used due to their proximity to the main terminal building, which can make aircraft maneuvering challenging in those areas.
The gate area spans 30,000 square feet and includes spacious seating areas with natural lighting and in-floor heating, providing a comfortable environment for travelers. For ease of movement, the airport is equipped with a modern passenger paging system. The main concourse is at ground level, housing seven gates, which facilitates quick access to the boarding areas. Additionally, clear signage throughout the terminal assists passengers in finding their way to gates, restrooms, and other amenities efficiently.
For those needing assistance, the airport staff are available to help with directions and information. The terminal's design incorporates features that cater to a smooth and pleasant travel experience, ensuring that passengers can navigate the space with ease.
