Getting Around PGV Airport
The terminal at PGV Airport is compact and easy to navigate, featuring 13 gates. This layout allows passengers to move efficiently between check-in, security, and their departure gates. The single terminal structure ensures that all facilities are within a short walking distance, making it convenient for travelers to access various services.
Upon entering the terminal, passengers will find the check-in counters and baggage claim areas on the ground level. After passing through security, travelers will have access to the departure gates, which are all located within the same terminal. This streamlined design minimizes the need for long walks or shuttle services within the airport.
For those looking to make the most of their time at the airport, there are several amenities available, including dining options, restrooms, and waiting areas. Signage throughout the terminal is clear and easy to follow, helping passengers quickly find their way around. Security & Screening
In this section, you'll find comprehensive information about the security and screening procedures at the airport. Learn about the locations of security checkpoints, the availability of TSA PreCheck and its benefits, and details on Global Entry and CLEAR programs. Additionally, discover how to renew or enroll in TSA PreCheck for a faster and more convenient travel experience.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Pitt Greenville Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. Passengers are required to pass through security screening before entering the boarding area. The airport recommends arriving at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening and other necessary procedures.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Unfortunately, the Pitt Greenville Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, the airport does offer TSA PreCheck, which allows eligible passengers to enjoy a faster and more convenient screening experience. TSA PreCheck lanes are available at the main security checkpoint, and passengers must apply and be approved for the program prior to their flight.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Pitt Greenville Airport does not have international flights and therefore does not have passport and immigration control locations. However, if you are traveling internationally, you will need to go through passport control and customs at your port of entry into the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Greenville Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through security checkpoints faster and with less hassle. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA website. Once approved, passengers can use the dedicated TSA Pre Check lane and can leave on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.

PGV Airport is not a Global Entry location, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can apply for Global Entry, including Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center.
