Getting Around PIT Airport
PIT Airport features a two-building layout: the Landside Terminal and the Airside Terminal. Initially, you'll find yourself in the Landside Terminal, where ticketing occurs. To reach the Airside Terminal, where all departure gates are located, you'll pass through a security checkpoint and board one of two underground people movers. This efficient system ensures you can move between terminals quickly and without hassle.
Once in the Airside Terminal, navigating is straightforward thanks to its organization into four concourses labeled A, B, C, and D. Here’s what you need to know about each:
- Concourse A: Contains 25 gates.
- Concourse B: Contains 25 gates.
- Concourse C: Contains 6 gates and handles all international arrivals (except for those cities with U.S. border preclearance). It also houses an Admirals Club and a free lounge for active duty military and veterans.
- Concourse D: Contains 7 gates.
