Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Reno Tahoe Airport has three security checkpoints located in Concourse B, Concourse C, and the Main Terminal. The Main Terminal checkpoint is located on the second floor, while the Concourse B and C checkpoints are located near the gates. All three checkpoints are equipped with advanced technology to ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The Reno Tahoe Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located at all three security checkpoints in Concourse B, Concourse C, and the Main Terminal. The program is available to passengers who have enrolled in a trusted traveler program, such as TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, or who have purchased a Fast Track pass. The Fast Track pass can be purchased online or at the airport and allows passengers to use the dedicated Fast Track lanes, which typically have shorter wait times than the regular security lanes.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Reno Tahoe Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the Main Terminal for international arrivals. Passengers arriving from international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at this facility. The CBP facility is equipped with advanced technology to expedite the process and ensure the safety and security of passengers. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents, such as a passport and visa, ready for inspection upon arrival. The CBP facility is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Reno Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints. The TSA checkpoint is located on the second level of the terminal, near the ticket counters. Passengers are required to remove their shoes, belts, and jackets, as well as any liquids or electronics from their carry-on bags. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is located adjacent to the TSA checkpoint and is available for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program. TSA PreCheck allows passengers to keep their shoes, belts, and jackets on, and keep their liquids and electronics in their bags.
