Getting Around SEA Airport

SEA Airport features a central terminal with four concourses and two satellite terminals, North and South Satellites. The airport's layout includes a total of 115 gates spread across these areas. To help you move efficiently between these sections, SEA Airport utilizes an automated people mover system known as the SEA Underground. This system links all four concourses with the North and South Satellites, facilitating quick and easy transitions between different parts of the airport.

When you're inside the airport, it's helpful to know which airlines are located where:

  • Concourse A is primarily for Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and several international carriers, with 16 gates.
  • Concourse B serves Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines and has 17 gates.
  • Concourse C, with 27 gates, is exclusively used by Alaska Airlines.
  • Concourse D is shared by Alaska Airlines and American Airlines and also contains 17 gates.
  • The North Satellite, dedicated to Alaska Airlines, includes 20 gates.
  • The South Satellite, used by Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, and various domestic and international carriers, has 14 gates.
All non-precleared international arrivals are processed at the South Satellite or Concourse A. These areas are equipped with necessary customs facilities and are connected via sterile walkways and an overhead bridge, ensuring a streamlined entry process into the U.S.

TSA Pre Checkpoints can be found at the North and South Checkpoints in the main terminal, as well as at the checkpoints in Concourses A, B, C, and D. Passengers who are not enrolled in TSA Pre can still utilize the standard TSA checkpoints located throughout the airport.
