SIN Airport Transportation Options
Overview
Singapore Changi Airport offers a variety of transportation options to suit different needs. You can choose from taxis, private shuttles, buses, ride-share services, rental cars, and public transportation. Each option provides convenient access to the city and surrounding areas.
Taxis & Limousines
Taxis are readily available at designated taxi stands outside each terminal. For limousine services, you can contact the Ground Transportation Desk at (65) 6241 3818. They offer 4-seater Mercedes limos, 7-seater Mercedes Maxicabs, and 9-seater Toyota Coasters.
Private Shuttles & Buses
- Airport shuttle bus services are available, providing convenient transfers to various locations.
- A free shuttle bus operates on weekends and holidays every 90 minutes to/from Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang, Toa Payoh MRT station, and Changi Business Park.
- For Changi Business Park, a free shuttle runs from Terminal 3 (Basement 2 Bus) and Terminal 1 (Basement 2 B), stopping at the IBM building.
Ride-Share Services
Ride-share platforms like Grab are supported at Changi Airport. Pick-up and drop-off points are clearly marked outside each terminal. Use the app to book your ride and follow the signs to the designated areas.
Rental Cars
Rental car services are located in the Arrival Halls of each terminal. Providers include Avis, Budget, and Hertz. Visit their counters for bookings and inquiries.
Public Transportation
By Bus
- Public Bus 36/36A runs to the city between 6 am and midnight. It takes about an hour and stops at the basement bus bays of Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4. The fare is $2.50, and exact change is required.
- Transtar Cross-Border offers hourly coach services to Johor Bahru's Larkin Terminal in Malaysia. Pick-up is at the Arrivals Hall at Coach Bay 12 for T1, Coach Bay 09/10 for T2, and Coach Bay 1 for T3.
By Train
- The MRT to the city operates from 5:30 am to 11:18 pm, taking about 27 minutes. The MRT station is located on the basement level of Terminals 2 and 3, accessible via escalators and elevators.
- Passengers from Terminal 1 can use the SkyTrain to reach Terminals 2 or 3, while those from the Budget Terminal can use the free shuttle bus to Terminal 2.
Accessibility and Additional Services
Changi Airport provides accessible facilities, including wheelchair services and moving walkways. Hotel shuttles and short-term parking options are also available for added convenience.
