Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

The South Bend Regional Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal. Passengers are required to go through this checkpoint before they can access the boarding gates. The security checkpoint is equipped with advanced screening technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The South Bend Regional Airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for passengers. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through a dedicated screening lane and avoid removing their shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as their laptops and liquids from their carry-on bags. TSA PreCheck is available at the security checkpoint in the main terminal.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

The South Bend Regional Airport does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

The airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. The TSA Pre Checkpoint allows eligible travelers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To participate in TSA Pre, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.
