Getting Around TTN Airport
Trenton-Mercer Airport features a single terminal with four gates, making it relatively easy to navigate. Gate 2 is subdivided into three sub-gates labeled Gates 2, 3, and 4. This compact layout simplifies the process of finding your gate and reduces walking distances, which is convenient for travelers with tight connections or limited mobility.
Before passing through security, travelers can visit the observation lounge on the upper level, which offers a relaxing spot to watch planes take off and land. Additionally, the Sky Lounge at Ewing provides a dining option with pub food. After clearing security, passengers can find another Sky Lounge location near Gate 1, offering drinks and pre-packaged sandwiches and wraps, as well as restrooms for added convenience.
Recent renovations have improved passenger amenities, including the addition of restrooms in the gate area and a new modular trailer baggage claim located outside the terminal. These enhancements contribute to a more comfortable and efficient airport experience. For seating, the area previously occupied by the baggage claim has been converted into additional passenger seating, ensuring ample space for travelers to wait comfortably for their flights.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Trenton Airport has one security checkpoint located on the second floor of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through security screening before entering the departure gate area. The checkpoint is equipped with X-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings. It is recommended that passengers arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
There are no fast track lanes available at TTN Airport. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through a dedicated security lane with expedited screening. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lane and keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as leave their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint on the second floor of the terminal building.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have international flights, therefore there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations from nearby airports such as Newark Liberty International Airport or Philadelphia International Airport will go through passport and immigration control upon arrival at their destination.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At TTN, there are TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. These checkpoints are designed to ensure the safety and security of all travelers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening at security checkpoints. This program is available to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who have been pre-screened and deemed low-risk by the TSA. To participate in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved by the TSA.

Global Entry Locations
Trenton Mercer Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center. However, there are several Global Entry Enrollment Centers located within a reasonable distance from the airport. These centers are designed to assist travelers with the Global Entry application process and provide them with the opportunity to complete their enrollment interview. To find the nearest Global Entry Enrollment Center, passengers can visit the Customs and Border Protection website.
