Getting Around WAW Airport
WAW Airport is organized into a single terminal complex known as Terminal A, which is divided into five check-in areas: A, B, C, D, and E. The terminal is separated into two main halls: the South Hall and the North Hall. The South Hall, which includes check-in areas A and B, was initially built in 1992 and has undergone several renovations. The North Hall, featuring check-in areas C, D, and E, became fully operational in 2008 and is significantly larger.
To navigate the terminal, passengers can follow clear signage that directs them to various check-in areas, gates, and amenities. The airport features 116 check-in desks and 23 self-service check-in stands used by airlines such as LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, and KLM. There are 45 passenger gates, 27 of which are equipped with jetways, making it easy for passengers to board their flights efficiently. Additionally, free unlimited internet access is available throughout the terminal, allowing travelers to stay connected.
