Getting Around DXB Airport
DXB Airport consists of three main passenger terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. Terminals 1 and 3 are interconnected with a common transit area, allowing passengers to move freely between them without the need to pass through immigration. Terminal 1, which includes Concourse D, is linked to the concourse via an automated people mover (APM). Terminal 3 is divided into Concourse A, B, and C, with Concourse A connected to the rest of Terminal 3 via its own APM.
For passengers needing to transfer between terminals, a shuttle service is available. This service takes approximately 20 minutes from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and 30 minutes to Terminal 3. Terminal 2, which handles budget flights and regional traffic, is located on the opposite side of the airport and is not directly connected to the other terminals. Passengers in Terminal 3 who need to transfer between Concourse A and the other concourses can do so using the automated people mover.
To navigate efficiently within the terminal buildings, passengers can make use of the clear signage and information desks located throughout the airport. Additionally, the airport offers a variety of amenities including lounges, dining options, and shopping areas to enhance the travel experience. For those in need of assistance, airport staff are readily available to provide guidance and support.
