Indianapolis Airport Terminal Map
Getting Around IND Airport
The airport features a single terminal with two concourses, Concourse A and Concourse B, which together host a total of 39 gates. The terminal is efficiently organized, allowing passengers to navigate between check-in, security, and their departure gates with ease. Concourse A has 20 gates and handles all international arrivals, while Concourse B has 19 gates. Both concourses are accessible from the main terminal area, which houses various amenities including dining options, retail stores, and customer service desks.
To move between different sections of the airport, travelers can follow clearly marked signs that guide them from the check-in counters to either concourse. For those with connecting flights, moving between Concourse A and Concourse B is straightforward, as both are connected through the central terminal area. Additionally, there are numerous information kiosks and airport staff available to assist with directions and other inquiries.
For a more comfortable experience, passengers can take advantage of moving walkways and escalators that facilitate easy movement throughout the terminal. Elevators are also available for those who need them. Restrooms, charging stations, and seating areas are conveniently located throughout the terminal to ensure a pleasant journey for all travelers.

Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Indianapolis Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the main terminal, near the ticket counters. There are also additional security checkpoints located in Concourse A and Concourse B. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time to go through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The Indianapolis Airport offers a TSA PreCheck program, which allows pre-approved passengers to use a dedicated security lane and avoid the regular security lines. The TSA PreCheck lane is located in the main terminal, near the main security checkpoint. In addition, there are also Clear lanes available for passengers who have enrolled in the Clear program. The Clear lanes are located in the main terminal, near the main security checkpoint as well.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Indianapolis Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the main terminal. This facility is responsible for processing international arrivals and departures. Passengers arriving from international destinations will go through passport control and customs in this facility. The CBP facility is located near the baggage claim area in the main terminal. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready and to allow enough time for processing through passport control and customs.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At the airport, there are several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the terminal. These checkpoints are designed to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to expedite the screening process by providing them with a dedicated lane and allowing them to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as keeping their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.

Global Entry Locations
IND is home to a Global Entry Enrollment Center, which allows travelers to apply for the Global Entry program. Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. The Indianapolis Airport Global Entry Enrollment Center is located in the International Arrivals area of the terminal.

Baggage Claim Areas
Indianapolis Airport has four baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal. Baggage claim areas are clearly marked with overhead signs and baggage carousels are numbered for easy identification. If you need assistance with your baggage, there are baggage service offices located near each baggage claim area.
