Terminal 5 at New York Kennedy Airport is primarily operated by JetBlue, serving as its main hub for both domestic and international flights. The terminal also accommodates Cape Air and occasionally other carriers. Terminal 5 is designed to handle international arrivals with the addition of the International Arrivals Concourse (T5i), which opened in 2014.
With a total of 29 gates, numbered 1 through 12 and 14 through 30, Terminal 5 is equipped to manage a high volume of flights. Gates 25 through 30 are specifically designated for international flights that are not pre-cleared, highlighting the terminal's capability to handle a diverse range of travel needs.
Travelers at Terminal 5 can enjoy a variety of amenities designed to enhance their airport experience. The terminal boasts the T5 Rooftop & Wooftop Lounge, a unique rooftop space open to all passengers, which includes areas for relaxation and pet-friendly zones.
