MNL Terminal 2 Map & Guide
This page offers insights into Terminal 2 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, highlighting its layout, facilities, and recent upgrades, tailored primarily for domestic flight operations.
Terminal 2 Info & Layout
Terminal 2 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, also known as the Centennial Terminal, is primarily dedicated to handling domestic flights. Originally designed by the French company Aéroports de Paris for domestic use, it was later adapted to accommodate international flights. However, as of June 16, 2023, Terminal 2 exclusively serves domestic flights, following the relocation of Philippine Airlines' international operations to Terminal 1.
The terminal spans an area of 75,000 square meters (810,000 sq ft) and features 12 jet bridges. It has a capacity to handle up to 10 million passengers annually, divided between its north and south wings. The north wing can accommodate 2.5 million passengers, while the south wing can handle five million, with recent enhancements increasing the overall capacity.
Travelers at Terminal 2 can enjoy a variety of amenities and services, including dining options, shopping outlets, and passenger lounges. The terminal underwent significant rehabilitation beginning in September 2018, with a partial expansion inaugurated on February 16, 2021, adding 2,800 square meters (30,000 sq ft) to the terminal area.
Access to Terminal 2 is facilitated by its location at the end of NAIA Road, making it easily reachable by road transport. Plans are in place to eventually interconnect Terminal 2 with Terminal 1, enhancing passenger convenience and terminal capacity. The New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) has announced that the integration will occur following the demolition of adjacent complexes and relocation of a fuel depot.
A unique feature of Terminal 2 is its historical significance, being named in commemoration of the centennial year of Philippine independence. This terminal plays a crucial role in the airport's operations, especially for domestic travelers, and continues to evolve with planned expansions and enhancements.
