This page is dedicated to providing information about Airside A at Pittsburgh Airport. You will find general information about the concourse, along with how to access and use our interactive terminal maps.
Airside A Info & Layout
Airside A at Pittsburgh Airport is part of the larger Airside Terminal, primarily handling domestic flights. This concourse is a key hub for major airlines operating within the United States. Airside A features a total of 25 gates, providing ample capacity for a wide range of flights.
Passengers can access Airside A via one of two underground people movers after passing through the security checkpoint in the Landside Terminal. This efficient transport system ensures a quick and comfortable journey to the Airside Terminal, where all departure gates, including those in Airside A, are located.
Airside A is well-equipped with amenities and services designed to enhance the traveler experience. The Airside Terminal boasts an AirMall operated by Fraport, which includes a variety of retail stores and restaurants. This shopping experience was pioneering in its approach, requiring tenants to maintain pricing parity with their non-airport locations, setting a standard for airport retail environments globally.
While Airside A does not directly handle international arrivals, passengers can easily connect to other concourses within the Airside Terminal, such as Concourse C, which manages international flights. Unique features of the Airside Terminal include the American Airlines Admirals Club and a free lounge for active duty military and veterans, both located in Concourse C, offering additional comfort and services to eligible travelers.
