Getting Around STR Airport
STR Airport features four passenger terminals, all interconnected and accessible on foot. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 share a single roof and are centrally located, making transitions between them seamless. Terminal 4, while also connected, is slightly set apart to the east and primarily handles holiday charter operations. Each terminal is equipped with its own check-in facilities and security checkpoints, streamlining the process and minimizing walking distances inside the airport.
When inside the airport, you can move between terminals without exiting the airside area. This area is equipped with eight jet bridges and numerous bus-boarding stands, facilitating access to your flight. Terminal 1 and its extension, Terminal 1-West, along with Terminal 3, serve as the main hubs with a larger number of check-in counters and services. Terminal 2 acts as a smaller hub nestled within the shopping area, ideal for passengers flying with Lufthansa and its Star Alliance partners. For ease of navigation, look for clear signage directing you to each terminal and its facilities.
