DWC Airport Transportation Options
Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) offers several transportation options to get you to your destination. While there isn't a direct metro or train connection, you can choose from taxis, buses, ride-share services, and rental cars.
Taxis & Limousines
Taxis are readily available at DWC. Fares range from US$30 to US$60, depending on your destination. You can find taxis outside the arrivals area. For limousine services, you can contact local providers for more luxurious travel options.
Private Shuttles & Buses
Private shuttle services are available for group travel or personal bookings. You can arrange these services through various local providers. Additionally, there are shuttle metro buses to Dubai International Airport (DXB). These buses take about 135 minutes to Terminal 1 or 2, and 2-3 hours to Terminal 2.
Ride-Share Services
Popular ride-share platforms like Uber and Careem operate at DWC. Pick-up and drop-off points are conveniently located outside the terminal. Use the app to book your ride and follow the signs to the designated areas.
Rental Cars
Rental car services are available at DWC. The rental facilities are located within the airport terminal. Major providers include Hertz, Avis, and Budget. Contact them directly for reservations and inquiries.
Public Transportation
- RTA Bus F55: This bus departs hourly from DWC to Ibn Battuta Mall metro station, taking about 40 minutes.
- RTA Night Bus F55A: This service runs hourly to Al Satwa bus station, with travel times ranging from 90 minutes to two hours.
To use the buses, purchase a prepaid 'Nol card' as cash is not accepted. You can get a Silver Nol card at the RTA counter in the terminal or any metro station.
Accessibility & Additional Services
DWC is equipped with facilities to assist passengers with mobility needs, including wheelchair services and moving walkways. Hotel shuttles are also available for direct transfers to nearby accommodations. Short-term parking options are provided for quick pick-ups and drop-offs.
